The Marketing Platform I Actually Use in My Own Business (Not Just Recommend)

I have exactly one client whose social media I build and manage.

Enji is genuinely different — and the reason I’m writing this review is how it thinks about marketing, specifically for solo and small-team founders… and BTW is priced for us too! 

It’s not built for enterprise.
It’s not built for nine-person marketing departments.
It’s not built on the assumption that you have a full-time data analyst living in your Google Analytics account.

It’s built for us:

  • Solo founders

  • Service providers

  • Course creators

  • Small teams who are already wearing twelve hats and do not want a 47th tool to manage

And it’s built by people who are actively running a small online business themselves: Taylor and her husband, Brett.

They get it — and it shows.

Social Media Scheduling: Yes, It’s Robust (But That’s Not Even My Favorite Part)

Let’s start with the obvious: yes, Enji is a fully-fledged social media scheduler.

Holy fuckballs, that’s a lot of platforms.

If social is your playground, you can fully centralize your posting inside Enji. If social is more of a “necessary evil” (hello, friend), you can still set things up in a way that supports consistency without chaining you to your phone.

You can:

  • Create posts directly inside the platform

  • Connect your Canva account for graphics

  • Use their built-in AI copywriter if you need help with captions or prompts

  • Batch schedule so you’re not living in content whack-a-mole land

As a copywriter, I don’t need an AI writer — if anything, I’d like an AI image generator that magically understands my brand colors and lighting preferences — but if you feel stuck staring at the blank caption box? That feature is there for you.

Strategy, Not Just Scheduling: Where Enji Really Shines

Here’s the thing that actually made me fall in love with Enji:
It doesn’t just ask, “What do you want to post?” It asks, “What are you actually trying to accomplish?”

For me, that looks like:

Pros

  • Built for solo + small teams — finally, something not made just for enterprise

  • All-in-one marketing HQ — social, strategy, campaigns, analytics

  • Campaign view helps you avoid overcommitting (or launching into burnout)

  • Priority-based approach so you’re not posting just to post

  • Excellent value for the price — especially compared to most “all-in-ones”

  • Founders who listen & iterate — Taylor and Brett actually care

  • Group coaching + private podcast — ongoing support baked in

  • iCal integration for KPI reminders and content rhythms

Cons / Things to Be Aware Of

  • If you want a massive, enterprise-level, multi-team, multi-department system, Enji will likely feel “too light” — because it’s not built for that.

  • If you’re the kind of person who never logs into any platform ever, even the best tools won’t help — Enji included.

  • Depending on when you’re reading this, some of the upcoming features (like full podcast/email functionality) may still be rolling out — so check their latest updates.

Who Enji Is Perfect For

In my opinion, Enji is a near-perfect fit if you are:

  • A small team with no dedicated marketing department
